How ChartsLoom handles site and contact data
This policy explains the information ChartsLoom processes when you browse the site, use browser-based tools, follow external links, or send a message through the contact form.
Contact form information
When you use the contact form, ChartsLoom processes the name, email address, subject, message, optional related-page URL, and consent value that you provide. The site may also process technical request information needed to validate, deliver, secure, and prevent abuse of the form.
We use this information to review your message, investigate a correction or concern, respond when appropriate, maintain relevant records, and protect the form from misuse. ChartsLoom does not sell contact-form information or use it to send unrelated advertising.
Email delivery and service providers
Contact submissions are sent through an email delivery provider, which may process the message and delivery metadata on our behalf. ChartsLoom uses Vercel for site hosting and Resend for contact email delivery. These providers may process data under their own terms, security practices, and privacy policies.
Hosting and security logs
Vercel or another configured host may create routine server, network, and security logs. These can include an IP address, browser or device attributes, requested page, timestamp, referral information, and response status. Such logs may be used to operate the site, troubleshoot errors, understand security events, and prevent abuse.
Cookies, accounts, and advertising
ChartsLoom does not currently require user accounts and does not use advertising cookies. Essential hosting or security features may use limited technical storage or request information when needed to deliver and protect the site. ChartsLoom will update this policy and provide any required consent controls before introducing analytics, advertising, accounts, or additional tracking.
Browser-based tools and exports
Calculators, converters, and other interactive tools are designed to process entered values in the browser unless a page clearly states otherwise. Table and chart exports are also generated in the browser. Temporary browser memory may hold entered values and generated files while a page remains open.
Retention and security
Contact messages may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, investigate corrections or legal concerns, maintain necessary records, prevent abuse, or meet applicable obligations. Messages that are no longer needed should be deleted or anonymized when reasonably practical.
ChartsLoom uses reasonable technical and organizational measures for the services it operates, but no internet transmission, email service, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
External websites
ChartsLoom pages may link to source material and other third-party websites. Those websites control their own collection, cookies, security, and privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting personal information to them.
Children and personal information
ChartsLoom is a general-audience reference site. Children should not submit personal information through the contact form without the involvement of a parent or guardian where required.
Your privacy choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. To ask about contact-form information or raise a privacy concern, please contact ChartsLoom. We may need reasonable information to verify and respond to a request, and some records may be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
